"I don’t think the issue’s about being against gay marriage. It’s about being for traditional marriage and articulating the reason that’s important. You have to have a basic family structure. There’s never been a civilization that has rewritten what marriage and family means and survived."
-- Mike Huckabee
Yeah. Anyone remember South Fagistan? They redefined marriage and where are they now? I guess that country didn't survive.
I never realized that Merriam-Webster had the ability to dissolve an entire civilization.

Jeez, leaves me speechless.
Hey, ancient Rome redefined marriage and family all the time, every time one of the high-ranking senators or Caesar took a fancy to one of his nieces or close-counsins. Then they'd change the laws to allow interfamily marriage or multiple wives, and change it back later when it got to be a point of contention.
Now, the Romans crashed and burned in a pretty big way. But that is because they were a bunch of greedy, power-hungry, opportunistic bastards who tried to conquer the world and force their way of life down everyone else's throats.
Wait... uh-oh. I think we're in trouble, here.
